Most are what are called *flea bites* but no substantial cips and no cracks. The area nearest the bottom has metal smudges from the locking screws This will not be noticeable when in the lamp Can fit a standard bulb in the bottom Has an amazing glow Each piece will be wrapped to insure safe travels Disclaimer... Old production glass has flaws...examples include bubbles, straw marks, scratches and possible glass contamination usually in the form of black specks.
