Improve your laser performance by increasing your cutting ability, surface finish and lens life. Hook this up to a small air pump or shop air compressor (max 20psi) using a 1/4" [6mm] vinyl or silicone hose. Slips right over the laser head (you will need to disassemble and drill a hole on the orange laser shield). Please make sure to select the correct nozzle diameter based on your machine model and pick a pack size. Go single pack if you're a light user or double pack to ensure you have a backup in hand! Each pack includes: - (1x) Air assist Nozzle - (1x) Air hose bracket *Color may vary between red, white, black or silver, depending on what I have available Does not include hose, air pump or laser machine. Installation: - remove the xTool D1 laser module; - mark the position where the air hose connection will exit the orange shield and remove it by undoing the 2 set screws on the back; - make a slot on the shield to clear the air hose connection by drilling a 3/8" [10mm] hole at the marked spot, then cutting from the hole towards the edge of the shield; - install the nozzle on the laser head - it fits tightly, so press firmly; - re-install the shield; - remove one screw (closest to the air nozzle hose connection) at the top of the module and reuse it to attach the air hose bracket; - pass the air hose thru the hose bracket and attach it to the air nozzle; - re-install the laser module and tie the air hose securely; - see the difference on your next work!
