This iPhone is an awesome deal for someone who knows what they’re doing. I bought this fully unlocked iPhone 13 as an investment as the back glass was cracked and had no other problems or issues. I bought some new equipment to repair the phone including a new heat gun in order to facilitate the back glass replacement. I can’t stress the point enough about the phone having no functionality issues before the repair, however after the back glass repair, the phone would not turn on. While opening the phone to verify whether or not the battery may have overheated, I cracked the phone’s screen glass, however the lcd is still intact (I tested the screen on another iPhone 13). For those familiar with glass only screen repairs, it’s significantly more cost effective than replacing the entire display. I originally assumed the battery may have overheated because of the new heat gun used, however after testing a new battery, I am unsure as to what else the problem could be. I also want to clarify while installing the new back glass, I cracked it at the top of the back glass. I will include a free phone high quality phone case if the Buy It Now price is paid, however the back glass itself is $10 to $15 on Amazon. Since all of the hard work of removing the old back glass and glue on the back has already been done, it’s easy to install the new back glass. For anyone who has ever gotten a quote from a repair professional for a back glass replacement it’s about $500 or more for the amount of time it takes to remove the broken glass and glue so the new back glass can be installed. Anywho, I say all of this because I’m still new to the repair business and honestly think the best thing to do would be to auction the device to someone who is more familiar with the issue at hand and focus more on the buying & selling part of my business.
