Description: Universal Pod Air Filter 42mm ID (1) PN# TBS-12-55742 The universal-fit pod air filter is designed to be clamped on to the inlet of any carburetor with an approximate opening of 42mm. We have sourced these filters to specifically fit the inlets of Amal 600 series carburetors. May also be suitable for fitment to Amal 376 Monobloc carburetors when the correctly-sized adaptor ring is fitted. Ideal for custom applications and fitment to many British and Japanese motorcycle models. This cone-shaped Pod filter measures 3.5 long, with an inside diameter of 42mm at the mounting point. Constructed of high-flow paper pleats with steel mesh reinforcement and an attractive chrome end cap. A thin stainless steel clamp is supplied with the filter. Quality manufactured for Emgo. Air filtration is important to maintaining a healthy engine. The Pod filter can be used in many applications where limited clearance is a factor. In some instances, carburetor tuning is necessary when changes in induction flow are made. An adaptor sleeve is beneficial to fit to the threaded inlet on an Amal 600 series carburetor to offer a smooth surface for sealing the rubber spigot of the filter.
