The pockets have some wonderful detail stitched around them and the buttons really pop against the black wool! Really wonderful. There are many many hand mends on the seat of these pants, and there are definitely signs of wear, which only add to their charm. There is an adjuster buckle in the back to get the best fit, and two buttons on the back waist which show these would have been worn with suspenders. Truly wonderful warm wool pants! There is quite a lot of wear on the seat of these pants as well as some portions of the front, please view condition for more information. These would be fantastic as décor or design inspiration! MEASUREMENTS: These pants measure approximately Waist: 30 inches Hips: 38 inches Inseam: 28 inches Length: 38 inches Rise: 12 inches CONDITION: These pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are quite a few holes in these pants, some with hand mends and others without! This is mainly the case on the seat of these pants where there are several quarter size holes, a result of the use of these pants! The thigh and knee of the right pant leg also have holes that are from wear. If one were to mend or patch these pants I imagine they would look absolutely amazing! This textile is in wonderful condition for its age and use, however it is not without signs of time and use, inherent in antique textiles. (E pants 202) 20220531
