Made by William Neale of Chester in 1887.Will have been made as a 1 off piece to their customers specifications.They were known for these types of pieces and are highly prized. Weight 245 grams. Size 110mm x 80mm x 20mm. You will not find another like it anywhere.No dents or deep scratches. Closes with a firm click. The clock is running fine but a few minutes fast each day.I guess the elasticated piece that would have held the cigarettes in place would have altered to hold Cards. The pencil is missing but would be easy enough to find a replacement. Just needs a polish. I have so much Silver to list at the moment that i do not have time to clean every piece !Please Note; Silver is very difficult to photograph so you will see many unsightly marks which will only be shadows and reflections.
