Description: Presented is a unique sterling silver three letter monogram hair pin or brooch. This is a relatively contemporary piece, artisan made by hand but unfortunately unsigned. The initials are done in an appealing overlapping but not cursive style, hand hammered so the silver catches the light attractively. There is no catch to the pin shaft, but it tucks into the end of one of the S's so it can be worn securely. Not quite sure whether the initials are SSA or VSS. This piece is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be sterling silver, except the shaft, which is yellow metal. This piece is in excellent condition.
