Description: Unique veterinary tin from the late 1800's. The tin is impressed on the front with~BY APPOINTMENT T.A. DOLLAR VETERINARY SURGEON 56 NEW BOND STREET LONDON W. The paint looks very old, but have no way of knowing if it is original. The tin can be locked, but there isn't a padlock with it. The bottom is marked with with a symbol that I can't make out and the the number 71 impressed into the tin. I did a bit of research and found that there was a veterinarian in London in the late 1800's by this name. It measures 4.5" high x 4 1/4" across the bottom x 13" around (circumference) and weighs 9 oz. In great condition-no damage noted. Please email any questions. Thanks for looking.
