Description: The card may not be in the best shape, however the photo says a lot. The Muscatine High Bridge is in the photo and just a tad of the Mississippi River showing. The train station (Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific depot) is a classic design (torn down in 1963) as well as a horses and a buggy hook up. Some very early automobiles are in the photo. Also railroad cars near the Mississippi River on the other sets of tracks for the other depot. On the far left of the photo, nearly halfway up but under the bridge is East Hill. This was a busy place for clamming in those days for the pearl button industry that employed thousands of Muscatine folks and people from the surrounding area
