The official released The Thing metallic was produced for SDCC 2011, and it had blue-eyes. This black-eyed error variant was produced in a small batch, likely less than 16 was ever made. Its existence was initially denied by many until photos surfaced years later. The mystery, rarity and story behind this Pop! makes this a true collector’s gem. I purchased this piece in 2012, have kept it in excellent condition, and am the original owner. I’ll include the original invoice for authenticity. This is a chance to own one of the rarest Funko Pops ever produced, in NM/Mint condition!
