The commemorative coin is dedicated to Ukraine’s achievements in the field of digital technologies and innovations. This coin symbolizes a radical change in the paradigm of interaction between the state, business and citizens, covering various aspects of Ukrainians’ lives, including education, medicine and justice. On the obverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, a small State Emblem of Ukraine is placed, surrounded by an electronic scheme / network. This combination symbolizes Ukraine as a single digital system, a monolithic and integral state, which, using the latest technologies, has united all aspects of the lives of its citizens. In this network, one can see the symbolic unification of the west, east, south and north under a single emblem, emphasizing the unity of the country. Above the scheme, there is the inscription УКРАЇНА, on the left – the denomination 10 and the inscription ГРИВЕНЬ; on the right – the year of minting of the coin 2024, below – the logo of the Banknote Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, the coin’s weight in purity 31.1 and the metal and fineness designation Ag 999. The reverse of the coin depicts a schematic map of Ukraine, created from binary code digits. This code is not random – it encrypts the name UKRAINE (vertically on the left), which can be deciphered by tracing the path from each individual letter to the corresponding sequence of digits. At the bottom right is the inscription DIGITAL STATE, to which an arrow (mouse cursor) is pointed. The composition symbolizes the basis of the digital world, emphasizing the importance of technologies for the country’s development.
