Description: From my private collection!Original antique, Circa 1900 to 1919 Jefferson UG Uranium Custard Glass Mini Mug.....Souvenir of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mich., MI.Maker: Jefferson Glass Co., Follansbee, West Virginia. Shape: Mini Drinking Mug....or cup.Pattern: Diamond with Peg. Size: 2 3/4 inches tall; & measures approximately 2 1/4 inches across in diameter across top. Features: Marked "Kys-Tol" & has a lovely hand painted red-pinkish rose & rose buds, green leaf accents; red town lettering; gold accents along top rim & on bottom pegs. It also has a nice starburst bottom......and, YES, it glows under UV light. Condition: EXCELLENT, with NO chips or cracks, although it shows a bit of (expected) wear to gold along top rim. Custard Glass: as the name implies, is more yellowish than milky & is an opaque glass. Uranium was added as a colourant to make it pale yellow. Grand Rapids is a city in and county seat of Kent County, Michigan, United States.
