The pages of the book are clean. Illustrations are black and white. There are 235 pages with information about a large-scale Confederate ordnance operation. The details were gathered from the "Day Book" of the Tyler, Texas, C.S. Ordnance Works, uncovered in its original manuscript form giving a graphic account of activities in the plant. The author also used timely excerpts from various Northern and Southern newspapers of the times. This out of print book would make an excellent and unique addition to your collection.
