Description: Frederic John Lloyd Strevens was a British painter. His depictions of aristocratic Edwardian-era women set in lush floral environments and elegant interiors are rendered in an academic style in soft pastel hues. Born in 1902 in London, England, Strevens regularly showed at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Paris Salon, among others, and his work can be found among the collections of the British Council.
