Both with the stamp of noted British dance photographer Zoë Dominic on the verso, and one with the printed label of the PIX Agency.Nureyev defected from the Soviet Union to the West in 1961, and would go on to dance with The Royal Ballet, and serve as the director and chief choreographer of the Paris Opera Ballet. The PIX Agency was an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.
