These that I am selling are from this year's crop and are in good shape. Some may be slightly curved, have blemishes, or vary in shades of beige and brown. They are as they grew naturally. Most are about a foot long or longer. Some may still have seeds in them, but if the seeds are not black, they will not grow. The loofah plants were sprouted indoors, planted by hand, watered daily if needed, picked and peeled by hand, washed in a dilute solution of 20 mule team borax and hung to dry by hand by a nice cozy fire from a wood burning stove.
