Description: Two Carlton Ware Foxglove Butter Dishes - Yellow and Peach These two dishes show the two variations of the Carlton Ware backstamp that was used between 1935-1961 with the Australian Design notation. One said Australian designed registration applied for (yellow) and the other says it's now registered (peach). The Foxglove pattern in yellow is pattern #4185 was introduced 1936-1940, and in peach/chartreuse is pattern #4621 was introduced between 1940 onwards. The shape #1875 was introduced 1939-1940 Size: 2cm deep, 12.5cm long, 10cm wide In good used condition, no chips, cracks, minor crazing (mainly on peach).
