Description: This lot consists of two old checks, dated 1957, from the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad Company, which was locatedin Belfast, Maine. The checks are both signed by the treasurer, whose name appears to Kenneth L. Taylor. The checks are also signed by general managerand auditor Wilfred I. Hall (1913-1988), who worked for the company for more than fifty years. One check was to Rockland Poultry Farms,of Rockland, Maine. The other check is to the Traffic Executive Association - Eastern Railroads, which washeadquartered in New York, New York. The checks are in very good condition.
