Description: Here's a rare unlisted Biermann's Cinchonine Bitters tin advertising sign from the 1800s that was nailed on the wall of some saloon or general store....TRY BIERMANN'S CIN-CHON-INE BITTERS IT'S GOOD in white print on green background...the words CIN-CHON-INE BITTERS are in larger raised letters.....Made of tin...9 3/4" x 6 3/4"...curved borders with pointed corners that have all been folded over so just need to be straightened back out. I just left the sign as I found it. The sign has 2 small natural holes near top from which it could be hung, but it also has several tiny nail holes where it had been nailed to a wall. It has some dents and creases; light rust. It is all there with no missing pieces. I have no idea where this sign may be from, but it came from an old Western New York bitters collection. I guarantee it is authentic and over 100 years old....a very rare find; the only one I've ever seen or heard of!....
