Description: TruHearing/Signia 5 LI-ION Standard BTE Advanced Hearing Aids. I purchased these for my then 91 year old mother. Unfortunately, right after I purchased them, her health declined significantly, and she ended up passing away. She only wore these 4-5 times after they were purchased (hence, the open box category). The distributor told me that the hearing aids are basically brand new, given the limited usage. We paid about $1,500 out of pocket as an insurance deductible, and are only hoping to recover part of that and allow someone else to benefit from the hearing aids. The distributor where I purchased the hearing aids told me that this pair normally sells for about $4,500 retail. The distributor also told me that these hearing aids do not require any special type of equipment to adjust, and that any distributor of hearing aids would be able to adjust them to a buyer's needs.
