Description: This is a set of 2 LED bulbs to replace the original 6 watt filament bulbs used in the interior light and rear number plate light for the CLASSIC series of TRIUMPH DOLOMITE and derivative cars. The original filament bulbs were part number 254 superseded by 239.. These LED bulbs are much brighter than the original specification bulbs having 3 surface mounted light emitting diodes which may be rotated to give the optimum light. Apart from improving the available light, the current consumption for each bulb is .025 amps compared with .50 amps for the original filament bulbs and the heat generated is down by a factor of 10! reducing, if not eliminating, heat damage to the plastic cover which can occur with the filament bulb.
