Description: Triade - L'arte Della Porcellana - Benacchio Figurine - Old Man Feeding Birds #725 In 1953 three ceramists in Italy decided to take their combined skills and experiences and create their own company. Using their passion for the 3 elements - earth, water and fire - Benacchio, Basso and Perdomello created Triade. Benacchio and Perdomello left the company in 1986 due to health reasons. Basso retired in 1997, leaving the company to his children Laura and Sergio who to this day produce exquisite figurines. Listed here is a beautiful biscuit porcelain figurine painted in soft colors. This figurine was designed by the talented Italian ceramist Benacchio, one of the 3 founders of Triade Porcelain. He displays wonderfully with fantastic detail from the muss of his hair to the beautiful flowers around the bench he sits on, there is even a spoon in his pail. He does need some cleaning from years of display (dust accumulation). His condition is excellent, I find no chips, cracks or restorations. A wonderful display piece. Covered felt bottom.
