Description: THE TRANSMASTERS US "WELCOME TO THE CLUB LETTER & FYI". Transmasters was a Transformers fan-club that operated in different capacities throughout the mid 80's to mid 90's. There were UK and US based divisions. This is a 'Welcome to the Club' sort of letter that was sent out to people interested in joining. It is stamped and dated July 1991 as you can see from the images. It was circulated via mail by the club secretary at the time, Liane "Tetra Reris" Elliot. It is 2 pages and includes information about the club itself and answers some questions about submitting the application for membership (the letter references the 'included application form' which IS NOT INCLUDED because it was filled out and sent in to the club'). Additionally, there is a 3rd page which serves as an 'FYI' on contact information and how to get certain fan-publications and zines related to Transformers and the Fan Club. As a community member, these materials were sent to me as correspondence through the old Transformers snail mail group back in the day. Although I've a fair bit of sentimental value attached to it because of that, these hard and uncertain times have forced me to consider parting with some of my most treasured items. My hope is for this to go to a good home, as I do not part with it easily.
