Description: For sale is one pre-owned vintage 1985 Transformers G1 Perceptor. This figure is low-grade, missing several parts, and being offered 'AS IS'. We received this figure secondhand in what is arguably quite poor condition, but we still felt it was worth offering - this figure is either best considered for parts, or in any other case is a severe fixer-upper for those who enjoy restoration.On a condition scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being new/mint, this figure is around a '30' (missing some body pieces but mostly intact, stands on it's own, some still-tight joints, all original stickers in place, lots of scrapes and scratches but no large cracks or broken pieces) Despite the overall generalized significant wear, the figure is missing several pieces, to include the black caps of both shoulders, the clear plastic of the chest piece, the microscope, and both weapon accessories and their projectiles. That said, all the original stickers are still in place with remarkably little discolouration, but plenty of other visible wear and weathering. With regards to the joints, both of the arms at the shoulders and elbows move somewhat loosely (the shoulders allow for VERY loose arm movement up until about halfway, at which point they seem to tighten up better and hold the pose easily). All points of movement to both the legs are actually quite tight and will hold all given positions. The dial on the back still raises and lowers the head with ease, though once raised, the head is prone to receding pretty easily. Though the figure has been disinfected and cleaned extensively on two occasions, it still appears to have a lot of spaces and seams gathered with dust or dirt. The persistence of this debris in edges and seams may require actual scraping to remove - in addition, there are parts of the plastic itself that have become discoloured and lost pigmentation where debris had been allowed to sit and settle for many years. But to be clear, the figure has been cleaned with plastic-safe disinfectant solutions and spent time beneath UV-C lighting.
