Description: Royal Crown Derby began in 1750 and quickly grew into a global brand at the forefront of exquisite fine bone china design and craftsmanship. They are best known for their Imari patterned china like this Traditional Imari plate. Royal Crown Derby introduced Traditional Imari in 1891 and it was one of their most popular patterns all the way through 2014 when it was finally discontinued. This 5 inch plate is a masterpiece of hand painting and gold gilding. By the markings on the back, this antique treasure can be dated to 1912. The condition is extraordinary for its age (see photos).
