The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The wear to the dust jacket is extensive! The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/rips/wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and creases/marks/discoloration/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text but particularly noticeable on certain pages! Please note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges. A portion of the top edge of the spine is missing. Please also note the wear that is present on the pages! All of the wear previously mentioned is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped but has substantial wear! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, marks and numerous, large rips resulting in considerable loss of paper. There are also numerous pieces of clear tape attached to the inside of the dust jacket! If not for the tape, the jacket would separate into two pieces. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges and on the spine, is extensive and very clearly visible! The jacket should be handled with care to avoid further damage. All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered.
