Description: Tough, 1974 (2005, DVD). Hard to find OOP independently produced family/juvenile delinquent drama, Very Good Condition, tested, plays fine. A young black boy growing up in LA (Dion Gossett) starts lashing out at everyone around him at home and school when his parents (Sandy Reed and Renny Roker) start having marital problems and neglect spending time with him. He starts rebeling against the white establishment with lies and constant attitude. Can this kid be helped before he becomes a hardened juvenile delinquent and joins a street gang looking for acceptance? On the plus side, he does prevent a class mate from being molested in the girls' bathroom (watching these young kids beat up on a creepy white dude is hilarious and disturbing at the same time). A time capsule of the early 1970s, though some things haven't changed much. From EastWestDVD.com comes in slim case with original artwork. Will be sent in a padded mailer.
