Clear Glazed inside and outside. Simple lined Gold gilt trim on handle and rim. This piece is unsigned, and admittedly it is a bit of a mystery. The delicate style of the cameos reminds me somewhat of the famous Watcombe large two-piece cameo jardiniere on a tall stand (BTW l is also clear glazed). The clay is fine, dense & red-bodied, but distinctly lighter colored (less brick red) than most Torquay pottery. Unsigned, unknown manufacturer. Nice looking jug! Size: 7” tall Condition Report: Used. Two tiny shallow flea bites on foot rim (mostly just glaze removed, photographed). Otherwise Very good condition for its age, no cracks, no visible crazing, no repairs, no excessive use-wear, gold gilt trim is intact. This item has no significant damages, but it may show light use-wear consistent with it’s age and prior usage. As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects.
