I am offering you a Watcombe cruet set, decorated with cottages, which is in absolutely top condition, with no chips, no cracks, no restoration and no glaze crazing. I will describe it pieced by piece. The base is 4 3/4" in diameter and is raised on a pedestal, which can be seen in the photograph. It is decorated with"seaweed" and the incised place name "Ilfracombe". The salt pot is incised with the works " Help yourself to Salt", the pepper pot " Hot and Strong" and the lidded mustard pot " I improve everything". The underside the base is stamped "Watcombe Torquay England" No corks in either the salt or pepper. What more can I tell you? It has s good quality glaze, it is beautifully made and decorated and you will not find a better example anywhere.
