Description: Great older specimen with a larger Topaz crystal from the historic and famous locality, Spitzkoppe, in Namibia. The crystal is very well formed and elongated, with very good formation and clarity. Even though the area produced a lot of single Topaz crystal, in later years, as primary miarolitic cavities were found, more matrix pieces have come out, often containing multiple species, like the one here. I think this piece might have been in the christensen dealership in the past... or Dan Weinrich... not 100 % sure. But a nice piece with a good Topaz. please be advised, i ship with Ground Advantage. This specimen is 213 grams, or 7 1/2 oz. The size is 3 inch x 2.8 inch x 1.5 inch. The Topaz crystal is about 3.5 cm in length.
