Signed "F. Fox". -Description: This is the original artwork for the daily comic strip TOONERVILLE FOLKS by Fontaine Fox. Fox's long running strip focused on small town/country humor often relating to the local "Toonerville Trolley". In this daily, a traveling salesman had found a new sales pitch for his bow ties with elastic bands. A cute gag rendered in Fox's loose style. ITS Condition: -The art is in excellent overall condition. Minor age/handling wear. Pencil lines are visible in the cartoon. Pencil notes to reverse.
