Description: Tonga: 1897 complete set of 14 ½d-5/- SG 38-53 hinged mint with largely clear gum; 3d toned gum and some hinge remains (see scan 2). Gum faults on the ½d value; area of adherence on the back of the 5d. The 2d value is type II. For front and back of the top three values see scans 3 & 4.
