In 1962, his best year ever, in addition to the LEAGUE LEADING .346 BATTING AVERAGE, he also LED THE LEAGUE IN HITS (230) and RBIs (153). The 153 RBIs BEAT Roy Campanella's FRANCHISE RECORD and REMAINS THE DODGERS' ALL-TIME SINGLE SEASON RECORD to this day.
