Description: LAST CHANCE! HUGE PRICE DROP! CANNOT GO LOWER FOR SUCH A PROLIFIC HITTER AND DODGERS RECORD-HOLDER! Tommy Davis (1939 - 2022) played left field and third base for 10 teams from 1959 to 1976, though most prominently for the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was with the Dodgers where Davis WON BACK-TO-BACK NL BATTING TITLES in 1962 (.346) and 1963 (.326) and helped the team to a WORLD SERIES TITLE over the New York Yankees in 1963. In 1962, his best year ever, in addition to the LEAGUE LEADING .346 BATTING AVERAGE, he also LED THE LEAGUE IN HITS (230) and RBIs (153). The 153 RBIs BEAT Roy Campanella's FRANCHISE RECORD and REMAINS THE DODGERS' ALL-TIME SINGLE SEASON RECORD to this day. The 230 HITS REMAINS THE TEAM'S RECORD for right-handed batters and is second overall to Babe Herman's 241, and the .346 BATTING AVERAGE was the HIGHEST by a Dodgers' right-handed hitter in the 20th CENTURY UNTIL Mike PIAZZA batted .362 in 1997. Davis was one of those hitters ALWAYS FEARED AT THE PLATE. Unfortunately, a major ankle injury in 1965 cut his career short. Even with a gimpy right ankle Davis was able to finish up his career as a pinch hitter, and in 1974 he WON THE OUTSTANDING DESIGNATED HITTER AWARD while playing for the Baltimore Orioles. Davis finished his career with a lifetime .294 batting average, 2,121 hits, 153 home runs and 1,052 RBIs. This original signature is SURE TO IMPRESS anyone who knows anything about the game of baseball. HOWEVER, IT IS ALREADY PRICED WELL BELOW THE CURRENT AVERAGE ACTIVE LISTING PRICE! SO, IF YOU WANT IT, BID ON IT NOW WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE BECAUSE IF IT DOES NOT SELL AT THIS PRICE IT WILL HAVE TO BE PULLED OFF MARKET! Good luck!
