Description: TiVo Series 2 DVR TCD540040 w/ Lifetime Service Remote AG0100 USB Network Wifi This is a Series 2 TiVo with a lifetime subscription. It comes with everything shown in the photo; the Series 2 DVR unit, remote control, a couple of cords, and user manual. 40 hours recording capacity. Item was in use until recently. I powered it up and confirmed it still works. See pictures for more details. The remote control also works (batteries are not included). TiVo's third version of the Series2 platform was the TCD540 series. These units were very similar to the TCD240 units, but had a NightLight faceplate that glowed and could be adjusted within the settings. Again, internal changes were made, largely to reduce manufacturing costs. This series completely replaced the TCD240 series.
