Titan Longhorn Tapered Quick Release Bench Press Belt XL Leather & Suede RARE!!!

Description: Every once in a while I get something in that has an unusual story and this one is as interesting as any.....When I first saw it for sale, I noticed it was a Titan "Quick Release" belt and seemed to be tapered from what I could see in the 1 photo the seller posted. It was described as a bench belt. It was listed as "Used" and in "Excellent condition." After purchasing it for a fair price, I started researching it and found these belts sell @ Titan for between $99.00 & $125.00 depending on the exact model. When the item came in I was rather surprised to find the belt was actually in brand new condition (beyond any shadow of a doubt!) I then went to the Titan website to try to ascertain exactly which model it was. Well, they currently have SIXTY EIGHT different belts and THIS was not among them so I tried their two U.S. distributors (Lifting Large & Ken Anderson Powerlifting) and while they had 40 or so belts listed, AGAIN, I couldn't find a match. I then proceeded to use 2 different search engines and 5 or 6 different key word searches spending over an hour checking links & photos but was still unable to find a duplicate of this belt! With all avenues exhausted, I decided to email one of Titan's top executives who also is quite knowledgeable about their gear past & present & sent him several photos of the item. His explanation cleared things up on why I couldn't find another and the fact of how rare it is to find one....and even rarer to find one unused!! Turns out this was produced for Titan over 20 years ago and imported by the company Wahlanders (which is still in business today). They are a huge company in Europe & especially popular in the Scandinavian countries like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland & Iceland. All-in-all this would now be considered a Hybrid belt as it has the attributes of THREE different (but current) belts that Titan sells. I will describe each so you understand what we have here. #1 is the Longhorn Suede Quick release. (Suede inside & out & normal 4" width) #2 is the Longhorn Tapered Suede 2.5 x 4" (but it is a single prong and NOT a Quick Release which is a 2-Prong.) #3 is the Longhorn Finished Leather Quick release. (Finished leather inside & out & normal 4" width ). THIS belt has Finished leather on the outside while the inner side is suede. It is a Quick Release Buckle AND it is Tapered (2.5" x 4"). Definitely a one-of-a-kind item here and after discussing it with a few other lifters the consensus was the belt should be worth 175-200 bux but I'm gonna price it to sell at $150.00 which should be quite fair for this VERY rare item.
