Tip Top Weekly 309, 3/15/02 Dick Merriwell, Star Athlete Clifford Ward Hillsdale

Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Tip Top Weekly No. 309, March 15, 1902, Dick Merriwell's Revenge; Or, Fighting A Desperate Enemy", Hillsdale College Star Athlete Clifford Ward Photo on the inside of the back cover - great for framing, approx. 10 7/8" X 8 3/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all condition, the covers have minor separated at the spine top and bottom of the spine, some darkening along the right edge, internal oxidation- VERY THIN paper. The back cover has a list of Tip Top Weekly cover titles. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. MANY of these early one have issues with the left side corners. I really believed they were clipped back in the day - maybe remainder stock?? Strange that the same exact corners on each one seem clipped.
