The original is then cast in sterling silver using an age-old process known as lost-wax casting or precision casting. The cast pendant is finally polished both by hand and with small tools. *As one advances through the world of Wicca, from darkness or unknowing to spiritual light, progress is marked by general 'degrees'. There are a total of four degrees, so the 'Third Degree' refers to a more advanced stage of Wicca, achieved only after years of conscientious study and practice.
