Description: This listing is for an INCREDIBLY RARE 1964 John F. Kennedy commemorative first day of issue postal cover signed and inscribed by Tina Towner. On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in downtown Dallas, Texas as his motorcade passed by the Texas School Book Depository building, from a 6th floor window, by Lee Harvey Oswald, an employee of the building. Tina Towner, who was 13 years old on that day, accompanied her mother and father to Dealey Plaza where they stood on the corner of Elm Street directly across from the entrance of the TSBD to watch the motorcade pass by. Tina, equipped with her home movie camera, made a film of the presidential limousine as it drove past her and her parents. Her film, known among researchers as “The Towner Film”, has been used in several investigations since that fateful day in Dallas nearly 60 years ago. I HAVE ATTACHED TO THE LISTING, FOR REFERENCE ONLY, SEVERAL FRAMES FROM THE TOWNER FILM SHOWING JFK & JACKIE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINE AS IT PASSED BY THE TEXAS SCHOOL BOOK DEPOSITORY BUILDING, WITHIN A SECOND OR TWO OF THE SHOOTING.
