Description: For sale is a tin friction 1950's Volvo 444 car made by Kaname of Japan. The car measures 7 1/2 inches long and it is in complete, all original condition with the exception of a replacement front windshield "glass"; the back is original. The paint is a vivid red with a nice surface gloss. There is some wear to the paint, especially along the edges. Also, there a couple of smallish scrapes on the top of the car. The metal trim is bright in some areas but a bit dull in others. The friction motor works fine and the tires and base are in excellent condition. This is a very detailed and beautifully designed tin 50's Volvo; it is pictured on page 215 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars. Thanks for looking!!!!
