Description: This vintage Tiffany Studios desk accessory dates from the early 20th century. It is a signed & patinated brown bronze pot that was used to hold the glue in a piece of the desk set known as a mucilage glue pot. In its complete form, it had a bristle brush held within it. If without glue, it was used as a pen wipe to wipe away remaining ink from a quill/fountain pen. The base is signed 2937, Tiffany Studios, New York. Condition is very good 2 1/4” tall X 2 1/4” diameter
