This is a solid FAIR copy. FAINT store stamp to front cover. The cover is edge chipped/soft. The spine label is present with chipping to the ends. Tape repair to the inner panel front cover. Front panel upper right corner chipped off BUT PRESENT with book. Internally, pages are surprisingly fresh considering pulp quality from near 70 years ago. No markings. Certainly suitable to read stories or flip through and enjoy the illustrations, ads, articles and etc. Preserved in an acid-free archival bag. FUN FACT: This has a fairly early short-story by Richard Matheson who of course went on to write I Am Legend, as well as a large pedigree of novels and short-fiction, some adapted to teh big screen. He also wrote 12 episodes for The Twilight Zone, including the intro and outro dialogue given by Rod Serling. Thrilling Wonder Stories launched originally as Wonder Stories in 1929, and ran until they folded in early 1955. I will happily answer any further questions. Making offers: I certainly can appreciate wanting a better deal, and I've made offers myself on my own purchases. To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers. Best not to waste our time. With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer. If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings. I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases. I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
