Description: Up for auction is a Very Rare, SIGNED First Edition/Third Printing of Three Tall Women by Edward Albee. A Play In Two Acts. "Winner Of The 1994 Pulitzer Prize For Drama". SIGNED Copies by the Legendary Pulitzer Prize Winner AND Tony Award Winner are Scarce and Becoming Exceedingly Hard to Find!! Hardcover with its original dust jacket, NOT price-clipped! Original price of $17.95. Published by Dutton: New York, 1995. Boldly SIGNED on a Brentwood School Bookplate by the celebrated author! NOT inscribed, simply SIGNED by the great Edward Albee! The Bookplate has been attached to the ffep/first blank page. Edward Albee spoke and signed a few bookplates as part of the Brentwood School Guest Lecture Series. Please remember Edward Albee SIGNED the Bookplate, which was attached to the ffep/first blank page. He did NOT sign the actual page/book itself. An important distinction to remember. A First American Edition/Third Printing. "First Printing, January, 1995" is clearly stated on the copyright page and the number line ends in "3". Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title! This is the Third Printing of the First American Edition. Once again, this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing. This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/marks/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges! The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The book itself has an odd "curve". The book appears to be slightly but noticeable bowed/slanted resulting in a clearly visible altering of the shape. The wear is a bit difficult to describe and tricky to photograph but we made a concerted effort to capture the wear by photographing it from different angles. The altering of the shape/wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, scratches and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! Please also note the wear on the front cover! The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection. Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!! Following the conclusion of the auction, payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed. Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank you!!
