Three Dog Night: Coming Down Your Way 1975 ABCD-888 Pitman A-5/B-5 Pressing EX

Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Three Dog Night titled "Coming Down Your Way", originally released in 1975 by ABC Records with a silver foil sticker on the front cover. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped an upper case "P", followed by a the matrix numbers A-5/B-5, signifying early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Record's pressing plant in Pitman, New Jersey. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The original inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of a small drill hole in one corner. The cover is graded as Very Good Plus because of corner blunts, edge rubs, faint ring wear and a small drill hole on the lower left hand corner. The spine has a little damage to its corners, along with a small dent in the middle with some color loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of superficial sleeve marks, but otherwise without any surface scratches, scrapes or scuffs. I'm play grading it as Near Mint Minus because of an occasional pop. It plays all the way through without any surface noise, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
