The book has no dust jacket, apparently as issued, and the top edge is gilt. The book is in very good condition but for a bit of wear and bumping to the corners and spine ends, some very small and shallow splits to the spine ends, shelfwear and edgewear, very light soiling, rubbing, and bowing to the boards, and faint darkening to the gilt topedge. The pages have only light and even toning and, aside from the lightest small smudge to the bottom of the first page (see picture), the pages are clean and free of any markings. Please see photographs as to condition. The binding is tight and square and the hinges and joints are intact. Please see photos. This collectible book is not ex-library, not a book club edition, and is not remaindered. It will be shipped bubble wrapped in a box.
