Book itself is in Excellent condition with a tight binding with clean crisp pages. Book inside text appears to be Unread! There is a Landmark name plate on the first end page, but no other writing or markings inside or outside of the book. Outside cloth covers are very nice. Book includes the "Dear Young Reader" letter from the author sent to members of the "Young Readers of America" club. The letter is in Very Good condition with the exception of the right side border that shows some edge chipping and darkening. Dust Jacket is in Very Good Minus condition showing some small creasing and some edge chipping and some small missing pieces primarily to the top and bottom of the outside spine and bottom edge of the front cover. Some soiling/darkening to the back cover. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Book has come from a private collection.
