As was advertised, “Tumblers don’t sweat, are light as a feather and the inlaid hand-woven straw jackets from the South Seas contrast the eight decorator colors.” Raffiaware by Thermo-Temp was made by the Mallory Randall Corp. out of Chicago in the 1950s and '60s. The insulated glasses and mugs with the burlap (sometimes called "straw" in the ads) are the precursors to our modern-day Tervis Tumblers. Sears had the exclusive right to market "THERMO WARE" tumblers.
