Signed lower right. Antique oil on board in original old frame. Wonderful tonal tonalist barbizon impressionist leaning oil with man on horseback heading towards old cabin / home in winter. In need of a little restoration mainly on the right side of the painting -has a couple paint flecks (see photos). Back of painting has some notes - one reads "Winter in England - Theo Launey - Paris". Would appeal to collectors of English Paris school tonalist painters, tonalism and barbizon school, late 19th Century to early 20th Century paintings.SIZE: aprox. 11x17.5 framed, aprox.9.25x16 unframedCONDITION: A couple scuff marks flecks can be seen on the right hand side of the painting. Not very noticeable but small restoration needed in these spots. Some edge wear from frame rub. Original antique frame has some wear to edges due to age (see photos).
