Description: This kit has a flame spectrum double sided LED strip, flicker control, and battery holder assembly. PSL’s Lighting Wick Strip is a double sided, semi-rigid, candlelight flame spectrum LED flex strip that uses 12 high 93 CRI (Color Rendering Index) LEDs (six per side) in a compact three-inch active area. The cuttable strip allows the active light area to be scaled from 3 inches at 6 LEDs per side, to 2 inches at four LEDs per side, or 1 inch at 2 LEDs per side. This unique, scalable, double-sided strip allows great flexibility for the theatrical Prop Master to create unique stage props, from lanterns to hand candles, with uniformity of the light source. The control has 3 buttons which operate the functions: Mode button, to choose the flame flicker effects pattern. Speed button, to control the rate of the flame flickering rate, mode and to control the on/off function of the control. The control speed ranges from a fast flicker flame to a slower modulated glowing appearance. Light button, used to control the one static dimming The dual voltage LED strip operates from 12V or 9V. Battery holder for 8 AA cells and 9V battery clip are included in kit (batteries not included). The strip is rated at 2.3 watts nominal at 12 volts DC with 46 lumens light output and 1-watt nominal at 9 volts DC with 26 lumens light output. The kit has a battery holder assembly and 9V battery clip for powering the kit from a 9V battery or 8 AA size batteries. The brightness is higher and operating life longer with 8 AA batteries. Operation from a single 9V battery allows a more compact prop design.
