Description: Vincent Price was an actor's actor. It seemed as though he could play almost any character radiating the feelings of the characters he portrayed. Before he was almost consigned to playing just "horror roles," he played romantic leads, comedic characters, and various other characters. Our version of the Vincent Price Collection consists of 3 movies of memorable note: Jules Verne's Master of the World in which Price played Robur the Conqueror, an unusual character who travels around the world in his airship bent on destroying evil wherever it may be. The U.S. Secret Service sends agents to infiltrate Robur's operations to prevent from targeting the American military. Price shows off his true acting ability as a man conflicted with destroying what he believes to be the enemy, yet conflicted by his own human nature. The second & third movies are part of the MGM Midnight Movies Double Feature where MGM used BOTH sides of the DVD disc. Price used his comedic talents in probably the most popular movies to combine the talents of Price, Boris Karloff, and Peter Lorre. They are The Raven, and The Comedy of Terrors! Most (if not everyone) knows the storyline of both movies, so there's no need to explain them. Both cases are in very good condition: there's a slight scratch on the Master of the World case, and if you need a replacement case, we'll gladly include it with your shipment at no charge to you. The other case has no blemish at all. Both DVD's are in mint condition and will operate fine in any player. Our asking price for this collection is $15.00 plus shipping and handling. As usual, we always ship purchases in cardboard boxes or cardboard mailers for further protection against the elements or due to bad weather conditions.
