Description: Poster Included: The Stars of Columbia Pictures 1982 - 15 Original Western Autographs - 30" x 24" NM WOW In the early 1980s one of the great ideas that legendary record producer Snuff Garrett embarked upon was rounding up some of the living western stars of Columbia Films and have them all sign an oversized print of the familiar Columbia logo, that of a woman holding a blazing torch, draped in an American flag. The posters were taken to each signor and they signed the prints. This was a process that Garrett employed with a series of prints, MGM, 20th Century Fox, The Lone Ranger, The Stars of Rock and Roll, and The Stars of Country Music, among others. Several of these series were never completed, as is the case with this print. This particular print has 15 signors and they include: Clayton Moore, Penny Singleton, Elena Verdugo, Richard Farnsworth, Sheb Wooley, Terry Frost, Jane Wyatt, Alan Hale Jr., Pat Berttram, Gail Davis, Terry Moore, Jock Mahoney, Walt LaRue, and others. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
